1. The Platform

VideoBackedMoney provides a technology platform that enables conditional, transparent financial support through custodial debit card access. VideoBackedMoney is not a bank and does not provide financial advice, social services, or guarantees of outcome.

2. Conditional Access Model

Access to funds through the Platform is conditional.

After each spending transaction, the Card is automatically placed into a locked state. To restore spending access, the Recipient must complete the required verification step, typically by submitting a short video update documenting the use of the prior funds.

This mechanism applies uniformly and is not a punishment, judgment, or evaluation of personal merit.

3. Identity Verification and Compliance

Sponsors are subject to full identity verification and regulatory screening. Recipients are verified as authorized users under the Sponsor’s custodial account using identity checks or Sponsor-verified alternatives where legally permitted.

Accounts may be monitored for suspicious activity and screened against applicable sanctions lists.

4. Donor Contributions

Donors may provide funds on a one-time or recurring basis. Donors acknowledge that:

• Funds are provided through a conditional-use model
• Verification provides accountability but not absolute certainty
• Contributions are voluntary and non-refundable once made available to a Recipient’s Card

5. Acceptable Use and Conduct

Recipients may use funds for lawful purposes only.

Donors, Sponsors, and other users must respect the dignity and safety of Recipients. Harassment, coercion, surveillance, or demands for private contact are prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.

6. Suspension, Termination, and System Controls

VideoBackedMoney may suspend or terminate accounts or Card access to comply with law, protect safety, prevent fraud, or enforce these Terms. The Platform may also implement system-wide pauses where necessary.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

VideoBackedMoney provides the Platform “as is.” We are not responsible for offline actions, personal decisions, or outcomes resulting from use of the Platform. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, with a waiver of class actions, to the extent permitted by law.
